Sri Lanka held a welcoming ceremony. Brigadier general youtepala, deputy commander of the Western military region of the Sri Lankan Navy, Yi Xianliang, Chinese ambassador to Sri Lanka, senior colonel Xu Jianwei, military attache for national defense, and more than 300 Sri Lankan Navy officers and soldiers, staff of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, representatives of Chinese funded institutions, overseas students, Chinese and overseas Chinese met at the dock.
